If I asked you what the hottest real time strategy game this year was you might be a little confused. I could ask you what Tiberium was and you might be more confused still but this time with no excuse. Command and Conquer 3, Tiberium Wars, is out and although it's only been out a few weeks (if that) I've already started to review it.
Tiberium Those of you into C&C may remember the original - 2 dimensional, Windows 3.1, fits on 2 CDs and blocky graphics. Next, there was "Tiberium Sun" - not a good game in my book, just couldn't get on with it although the EM cannon was good. Now we have a game on 1 DVD, XP and above, with a 6GB install - ouch.

To clear things up - there's 2 stories running on the whole C&C front - we have Red Alert which is set after the second World War and the Tiberium plot thread, let's not get the 2 confused. Red Alert harvests gems, precious minerals that don't kill people. Tiberium is a nicely toxic substance so we really should be careful!
